Friday it was Grandparents Day at Riley's school. Since both of her sets of grandparents live quite far away, we spent the day with Riley instead.
We got to be her Grand Friends...I like that title.
After a game of dodge ball at PE, and a presentation from the students,
we headed outside for our picnic.
of course we couldn't leave out the playground
boy does that girl love the monkey bars!
and she has the hands to prove it!!:)
check-out that slide...
great action shot daddy
We had a wonderful time spending the day with you Riley.
Love you
Great picture of you and Riley and Aubrey! Looks like Riley had a great time. Brady's grandparents live far away too...I feel like they miss out on the day to day happenings. There should be a law that family needs to live within an hour of each other!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekendd!
looks like a fun day. glad you got to go spend time with her
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable...great pics. Love the collage...I need to learn those techy things.
ReplyDeleteOk, go see a movie by yourself....it is the most wonderful freeing feeling!! Mark doesn't really enjoy the movies, so this was a HUGE treat for me. Plus I didn't have to take anyone out for a potty break or clean up spills! :)
Great pictures! Love the collage! That's so nice that you were able to go hang out at grandparents day. Looks like you had some great weather that day too! So fun!
ReplyDeleteSorry we missed that special day. There's always next year. I agree with Kerri...families should live close by.
ReplyDeleteAwesome playground. Such cute pics!
ReplyDeleteLove how you made the best of that Grand day!
I never had Grandparent's Day at school as a child, but as a teacher it was always one of my favorite days of the year. Looks like you guys made the best of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
And I love the name Riley!
I love the slide photo at the end. All of the pictures are great! Glad you made the most of the grandparents day celebration. We mailed all of our cards for grandparents day a few days ago. I'm glad it's a recognized holiday! :)
