Happy Mail

I have to admit, the day Kerri posted about getting Happy Mail, I was a bit envious! There really is nothing quite like opening that metal box to find something happy inside.  As a child I had lots of pen-pals  and I can still remember the excitement of opening those fat little envelopes decorated with glittery stickers.  Well, yesterday I received some Happy Mail of my own!  It wasn't decorated with glittery stickers, but it held something even better then a fat letter inside!

Awhile back, I won my very first give-away.  Jen, a fantastic mother  from the inspiring blog Denton Sanatorium, so graciously gave away a $40 Target gift card on her birthday. Yes, giving away a gift  on her birthday, that's just the kind of gal she is!:)  Yesterday it came in the mail.  I hope my neighbors didn't see my little happy dance by the curb.  Especially since there was a Target coupon book in the mail too!!:)  Funny thing was, Aubrey and I were heading there anyway, so this was even more then perfect!

Instead of getting Fall Decorations like I thought I would, I decided on four of these little beauties.

They fit absolutely perfectly in our new laundry room storage bench. (more pictures of the re-do to come!)

So thank you Jen and heres hoping a little Happy Mail is coming your way too.

Enjoy the day,

  1. Yay for bloggy happy mail!
    Cute Target finds.

Cute post about the "sorry notes". I remember the days when brushing Emily's hair was the worst part of the day...lots of screaming and fussy about too many bumps in her ponytail. I almost forgot about that!

  2. very fun and got to love getting a great find

  3. Love happy mail! You've been one lucky blogger Cindy!!

  4. Yay! Something exciting in the mail! Your target finds are so FUN! Can't wait to see your room!
After I did my mail post the other day...I was secretly hoping that maybe my mom would see it and send a note my way....but nope, nothing!

  5. Love happy mail and I love that you won a giveaway! I quit trying for those long ago! I am a certified bin girl and those are too cute! Your blog looks great by the way!

  6. Wow, haven't noticed those up here, but now I'll be looking for them - LOVE 'em! Love that you won it from Jen, too ... she's amazing! enjoy!

  7. Darling! I can't wait to say that I took part in your redo. Glad to make your day, and wish I'd had a picture of your happy dance!

  8. Congratulations! So exciting. :-) Can't wait to see your redo! LOVE those cute containers/ bins/ baskets? LOL Can't think of the right word. LOL Been a long day!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  9. Fun!! I love those bins! I wish I had somewhere to work them into my house too!! ;)

  10. Lucky you! Love the sweet little bin. Your laundry room will be so happy and fun! Mine is in standstill mode. I think today is the day to get it moving again. I need hubby's help moving some bins to the attic, and then to decide on a color scheme. He bought the black and white tiles, which are fun, but busy on their own!

  11. How fun! Love the cute container! Congrats on the win!

  12. I love those totes! They are so cheery! Every time I see that one I want to buy it, but the size doesn't work in the spaces I need. *sniff*
