are we like the most predictable pair or what??:)
it was fun
and cozy
and snugly
we see the same group of "two-year old lovin grandpas" there every week
they may be there everyday for all we know
i guess they are predictable too
here are some of the books we got at the library
a good day
kitten's first full moon
mr putter and tabby feed the fish (LOVE this series!)
brownie and pearl hit the hay (this series too)
daddy hugs 1 2 3
ten tiny babies
my crayons talk
i have to be careful not to get carried away and check out too many
that little sweetie of mine can sit forever for a good story
and she likes to read every.single.one in the basket...can't leave any for next time!
that's a good problem to have i know
a not so good problem to have is a two year old who is not napping
there are chatters and giggles turning to cries and whines upstairs
that does not make me smile
at least i already speed vacuumed the house and the car and put two loads of laundry away
i had a feeling this might happen
she asked for "lip stuff" as i was putting her down and i gave her some
the slightest break in routine and it's all over ya know!:)
no new pictures for ya
so here are some old ones
from the" recently uploaded to my computer" archives:)
peanut butter and apples gone VERY wrong!
looks like someone else liked their feet on the table too
hope your tuesday was terrific
have a happy day,
cindy
Brady was the same way with books...he could sit on my lap forever while I read and we looked at the pictures. Somewhere near 2 1/2 ants crept into his pants (diaper) and he could no longer sit still for very long! Such good memories. Aubrey is lucky to get to be home alone during the day with you. LOVE the old pictures of the girls!
ReplyDeletegot to love a child who loves books. never a bad thing!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day! And those archive pictures are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope she hasn't stopped napping completely for you! Unfortunately Boyd has. I might get one nap a week if I'm lucky. He did nap til he was 3 1/2 though, so I know I can't complain. AND nighttime is a breeze now. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm predictable like you, so I love it!
Love the flashback pictures. They make me smile. Have a great day Cindy!
Your girls are adorable. I LOVE the fact that your youngest can read and read and read....what a wonderful mom/teacher she has to instill a love of learning and books at such a young age. They are very, very lucky girls!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at the library .... always overload because I'm addicted to children's books :)
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking how many old pictures I have in albums on shelves. I need to find a way to download them. You've reminded me how great it is to look back.
ReplyDeleteSo cute.
Thanks,
Dana
oh, cindy, those old photos of the girls are absolutely precious!! and the one with the peanut butter?! oh my goodness, how did you ever clean that up?!
ReplyDeleteso envious of your library time with aubrey - i did exactly the same when mine were small ... it's so nice that you have the age spacing to have her all to yourself some of the time ;-)
Cindy, it sounds like the perfect day! I love the library too! Enjoy your Thursday, tara
ReplyDeleteHehehe look at that peanut butter!!
