{Chocolate Sugar Cookies}

Ever had a chocolate sugar cookie before?
They are delicious.
Please add this recipe to your holiday baking routine.
You'll thank me...I promise!:)

Cookies:
1 bag mini baking M&M's
(pull out some to save for the top, or you can use regular size M&M's on top too)
1 1/4 C butter
2 C sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 C and 2 T flour
3/4 C cocoa powder
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs
Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl
Combine

Roll into balls and bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
(watch your first batch closely since oven temps vary)
Do not over bake.
Shininess should be gone, but they should still look moist.
As soon as cookies cool, transfer them to a cooling rack.

Frosting
1/2 C butter
4 C powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
4-6 t milk
Mix well

Spread on completely cooled cookies
Top with M&M's

They are not low-fat by any means, but still oh so yummy!

Enjoy the day and the cookies,
Cindy
