his sweet step dad, poppy joe passed away a few weeks ago and the services were this weekend.
death is hard...to say the very least.
funerals are hard.
i hate to be sad and cry.
i don't want anyone to be sad or cry when my time is here.
i just want a big party with lots of good food, all my favorite dance tunes
and mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert.
we will miss you poppy joe

Prayers for your family, sweet friend. I am like you, I don't want anyone to be sad or cry when I leave. I want a big party with my favorite food and drink and music. NO funeral. Just happy times.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. I'm the same way. I hate to be sad and cry. I love your idea for a send off. Much better than a funeral. Which is all kinds of sad wrapped up in a black bow.
