ya know i haven't done once since here!

sisters doing each others hair and sharing shirts...love. 

and can i just tell you how thankful i am for riley's hair doing abilities.

she promises to braid my hair this summer when it's 110 degrees!

can she just slow down already.

i'm seeing more 15 then 10.

::creating::

this beauty of a chalkboard held a quote and pics from fall.

 when i got it for my birthday from a friend.

waaaaaaay overdue for a makeover.

and i love it.

aubrey had her first school egg hunt last week.

her little strawberry basket with pink ribbon threaded through is a basket i'll keep forever.

they were each able to find 4 eggs.

inside her eggs aubrey found 3 erasers (all identical) and a peter rabbit sticker.

and she was happy as a lark!:)

our library is all decked out for the summer reading program and i love it.

if i had 50 foot ceilings those beauties would be hanging from it!

 ::gardening::

funny what a new pair of yellow hello kitty gardening gloves will do for ya.

this little one helped dave in the garden for hours!

and she loved every minute of it!

::pleading::

"please don't move this high chair to the attic mom...i can still use it...or put my babies in it....or something...!!" garages are best cleaned out when the kiddos are at school!

janey stayed home on monday. just some congestion and a cough, nothing serious,  so she came shopping with us. she got to be the "hug me while i sit in this unsafe spot on the cart and don't let me go and talk and sing to me the whole time!" person. she was really good at it!

we have a clock in aubrey's room and we tell this little early riser she can't come down till she sees a "7 at the beginning". most days she will wait...read in bed... play in her room. but this week i have seen this little bed head beauty 

around 6:30. pleeeeeease...

my case in point for staying in bed till 7!:)

::waking::

when i woke janey up that morning she told me she got up around 3:45 to use the bathroom and saw me sleeping in bed. she said she wanted to climb in with me and spoon me till morning.

wish she did!

::borrowing::

riley's new hat...think it just became my new soccer sidelines hat!

 anything chalkboard these days.

::happy friday friends::

this post should probably be subtitled "how many pictures can you possibly take in the car?":)

not much going on in the way of creative shots this week that's for sure.

 

 

::moving::

so far so good on the own room thing.

::yahoooooing::

that's what she says as she zooms past with one foot in the air.

 

::car dancing::

let her out of her seat in the very long car pick-up line to dance.

big mistake.

huge meltdown when it was time to buckle up again.

sigh

 

::getting lost::

picked janey up for lunch on thursday, they both grabbed a book from our library bag that was in the car and that's all she wrote...not much chit chat that day.:)

 

so i enjoyed my "i shouldn't have bought you" coke in silence.

 

::multitasking::

she reads a story while doing hair.

perfect future mommy skills right?.

 

::picking up::

aubrey loved having the girls there to pick her up from school today.

she said "make sure you run to me, like i always run to you when i pick you up."

it was the sweetest.

 

then we went to panera for a quick bagel/mocha snack.

we sat there for waaaaay to long laughing waaaaay to loud as they took waaaaay to many silly pictures of each other's funniest faces.

 

::jamming::

then we drove home the back road country way and jammed our favorite girl tunes...

at least three times each...

while janey and aubrey drummed on their new boot shoe boxes.

 

good stuff i tell ya.

 

this weekend i am heading to the city with a friend for a little shopping.

we may need to dodge a raindrop or three.

but at least it's the city.

 

other then that...not much on the agenda and that's a good thing.

janey and i are our heading out today for our annual girl scout camping trip and it looks like this time we just might have sunshine!!:) we wont know what to do without all the mud and raincoats!:)

cody watched our vitamins and flip flops till school was over

i put my almost empty mocha in the cup holder and aubrey in the car on her side.

by the time i walked around she had grabbed it and hid in the back.

when i opened the door she said giggling, "mommy, where'd your mocha go?!!"

 

::playing::

met our good friends at the park on friday.

the weather was gorgeous!

 we were the only ones there and these two played for an hour and a half.

they collected a ton of acorns and pretended they were at the beach.

can you say "pockets filled with sand?":)
