{New and Good}

remember this happy post?
well i finally got around to taking pictures of all those finished projects.
and a few other new goodies too.

i am soooo way behind on a"word of the year" type post but that's nothing new for me right?:)
i really wanted a word for the year.
a little reminder...a goal.
i actually think i picked a good one.
i love it so much i decided to paint it blue and hang it in my kitchen.:)

i want to work on enjoying life more.
my family, my friends, my home, my life in general.
sometimes i get so caught up in "driving the bus" that i forget to enjoy the ride?
any other mama's know where i'm coming from?
so my word for the year is enjoy...
and i can't help but see it and try and live it every day.:)

my good friend and neighbor got me this vintage frame for my birthday but i don't think i ever took a picture of it. i bought a cheap-o chalkboard from hobby lobby, dave cut it to fit and secured it to the back.

i just love it.
it hangs on the little wall near the kitchen and laundry room.
i should update the pictures...but it still makes me smile.
saw that lovely verse here.

it was 60 something yesterday so these beauties were brought up from the basement closet.

they make me happy.
i can feel spring in the air...oh yes i can!
supposed to snow this weekend...darn it...but the flowers are staying.:)

this might be the most amazing thing i have bought in a long time.

oh how i love tj maxx.
i cannot tell you how happy this little purchase made me!
i did the happy dance every time i walked past it for days.
who am i kiddin'...i'm still dancin' now!
i love it.
first i had it in the kitchen and then i moved it to the wall between the kitchen and the family room.
i think it has found it's home.
a beautiful and constant reminder.

i'm saving the best for last...our new picture wall.
stay tuned for more new and good stuff....coming soon.

so what's new and good floating around your house?:)

have a happy day,
cindy

  1. I love the wall hanging you bought at TJ Maxx. That would make me smile and dance as well. Your frame is so cute with the chalkboard in the middle, and that verse is so good, so true. Your "enjoy" letters in the kitchen are great, and that is a great word of the year. It really is something we have to be mindful of, stop and ENJOY! I'm very guilty of driving the bus as well, and at the end of the day I think, did I even laugh or have fun today, or was I just too busy doing? I don't want my life to pass by like that. Great post friend! xo.
